Home-made Acne Face Wash

For all people who suffer from acne ( blackheads, whiteheads, zits etc), here is a simple acne treatment you can concoct with the fundamental ingredients in your kitchen pantry; salt, lemon and/or lemon juice and brown sugar.
These three components have been LSU proven to remove dead skin cells, disrupt the synthesis of oils and fats in the skin- especially in the T-Zone area- and to dry up unwanted skin inflammations (namely bumps and zits.)This mixture should be used both morning and night, for all around, deep cleaning. For best results, heat warm rag in microwave for about 40 seconds, and slap onto face, to open up pores, then proceed with cleansing.

Citric Salt and Sugar Cleanser

1 Lemon cut in 1/2 ( one 1/2 for AM use, one 1/2 for PM use)
1 teaspoon iodized salt
1 teaspoon rough brown sugar

Directions

*Towel wrap face prior to cleansing, with a lukewarm rag for about 5 minutes.
*Unwrap face and stir both salt and sugar together in a small container.
*Add a few drops of water to lightly combine the two dry mixtures.
*Apply the scrub to face with the tips of your fingers, focusing on the sites of acne
concentration; especially the T-Zone ( forehead and nose bridge.)
*Take 1/2 lemon, invert the lemon inside out (forming an umbrella, with lemon flesh
on the outside)
*Place index, middle and ring fingers on the inside of the umbrella (the peel)
and gently apply the lemon round to the entire face, focusing on acne prone areas.
*Leave lemon juice on face for 5 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

Avoid using dry towels to remove water from the face. Instead, use cotton balls or swabs for pat-drying. Smooth on your favorite moisturizer as a finishing touch. This cleansing ritual should be performed daily, AM&PM for one week to see tangible results.
